It’s Morning Again In America

5Mind. The Meme Platform

In his 1984 reelection campaign, President Ronald Reagan unveiled an unforgettable commercial titled “It’s Morning Again in America.” It summarized the economic success of the Reagan administration in lowering inflation and interest rates, creating new jobs, expanding home ownership, and creating a better future for young couples. The narrator concluded by noting America is “Prouder and stronger, and better,” and asking, “Why would we ever want to return to where we were?”

Reagan was initially elected in 1980 after the disastrous administration of President Jimmy Carter. In his first term, Reagan rebuilt the economy, restored our military greatness, and made Americans proud of their country again. For his many achievements, voters rewarded Reagan with a 49-state landslide victory.

After the four-year nightmare of Carter, America experienced “morning again” under Reagan. Similarly, Americans faced another four-year nightmare during President Joe Biden’s calamitous administration. He delivered to Americans an open border, a horrible economy, unworkable “climate change” policies, draconian COVID mandates, a weak foreign policy and a military unable to meet recruitment goals.

When President Donald Trump was elected in November of 2024, he inherited a “mess.” Incredibly, in less than one year, it is “morning again” in America. The Trump administration has delivered amazing results, despite the challenges provided by the intractable Deep State, progressive judges and special interest groups, a leftwing media, and a razor-thin GOP congressional majority.

For our national security, President Trump has announced plans for the rebuilding of our navy with the “Golden Fleet” of battleships and the creation of a first-class missile defense program labeled the “Golden Dome.”

In 2025, under Commander-in-Chief Trump, all branches of the United States military have achieved the highest level of recruitment in 15 years.  As a reward for our brave troops, President Trump delivered “Warrior Dividends” of $1,776 during this Christmas season.

While refraining from never ending wars, President Trump has effectively used U.S. military power to destroy Iranian nuclear facilities, terrorists in Syria and Nigeria and drug smugglers onboard vessels in the Caribbean Sea and the Eastern Pacific Ocean.

Along with using limited and devastating military strikes against enemies, President Trump has worked tirelessly for world peace, ending several long-standing conflicts and saving countless lives. He negotiated an end to the war in Gaza and the return of all hostages from Hamas terrorists. Trump has been the major diplomatic force working to end the four-year war between Russia and Ukraine, which started during the incompetent Biden administration.

President Trump has effectively used the National Guard to enhance safety in American cities. This has helped to produce a 20% decline in the nation’s murder rate this year, which was “by far the largest decline ever recorded” in American history. In addition, compared to last year, motor vehicle thefts decreased by 23% and robberies declined by 18%.

The most stunning achievement of the Trump administration has been the creation of genuine border security. As observed by FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino, Trump has delivered “illegal border crossings at their lowest level in decades.”

After the record influx of illegal aliens in the Biden administration, President Trump has reversed the trend in eleven months. According to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), 2.5 million illegal aliens have either been deported or voluntarily left the country.

Another astounding accomplishment has been the location of 129,143 “unaccompanied migrant children” by DHS and the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). DHS Secretary Kristi Noem said, “Too many of these children were exploited, trafficked and abused.”

As Newsweek admitted, the Biden administration “did not prioritize” following up with migrant children once they “entered the country.”

Along with discovering the whereabouts of migrant children, the Trump administration is making a new commitment to identify victims of human trafficking. HHS announced a five-year $35 million grant for a “National Human Trafficking Hotline.” This follows “complaints” that the Biden administration “failed to answer calls from victims” of human trafficking.

Another legacy of the Biden administration was a dreadful economy that saddled Americans with high inflation and interest rates and a surging national debt, which forced many families to forgo the dream of home ownership.

In response, President Trump’s policies have led to significantly lower inflation and interest rates, which will help more Americans buy their first home. Grocery prices have started to fall and gasoline prices have dropped to their lowest levels since 2021. The economy is responding positively and the growth in the third quarter registered a stunning 4.3%.

While the federal debt levels are still too high and the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) did not reach its goals for cutting spending, it did produce a remarkable achievement, the elimination of 271,000 jobs in the federal government bureaucracy. It was “the largest peacetime workforce cut” in American history.

Another successful new policy of the Trump administration has been the installation of “reciprocal tariffs.” President Trump has been insistent that countries throughout the world would no longer take advantage of America and loot our countries of jobs and manufacturing.

The results of the President’s tariff policies have been impressive. Without creating inflation, tariffs have produced $372 billion for the American economy. The numbers are so vast that President Trump is promising $2,000 tariff dividend checks to the American people in 2026.

Another rebate check coming to Americans in 2026 will be due to the passage of the “One Big Beautiful Bill” in July. The bill increased the standard deduction and child tax credit, and reduced  taxes on tips, overtime, auto loans, social security. The bill locked in the tax savings retroactively in 2025, but most Americans “continued having taxes withheld at the old, higher rates throughout the year.” The result will be enhanced tax refunds up to $1,000 for each American taxpayer, according to the Tax Foundation.

As White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller stated, “The last 11 months have been the most successful 11 months in the history of the American presidency.”  Truly, “It’s Morning Again in America.”
