PERK’s Goal is to Protect Children’s Right to an Education

PERK strives to empower parents, educators and professionals to take an active and informed role in impacting legislation centered on education. They provide opportunities to improve understanding and knowledge of the legislative process through targeted education and skillset building. They recognize and expand upon the innate abilities of constituents and educate and prepare them to secure meetings with their legislators in a manner that is conducive to positive change and productive dialogue.

  • Knowledge of current events and relevant legislation
  • Meeting preparation
  • Thorough bill analysis
  • Meeting etiquette and informational exchange

  • Educating and empowering others within district

Meeting with legislators on issues that are personal and of high importance can be overwhelming and intimidating. PERK strives to empower our community to get involved, gain confidence and become leaders and facilitators of positive change.
