The Trump Curse is REAL!

One of the most fascinating aspects of the life of former President Donald J. Trump has been how people who have challenged or betrayed him have had misfortunes thereafter. For people of religious faith these misfortunes are known as “curses” which are the opposite of “blessings”. The way these misfortunes usually are observed is the person who did wrong to Trump usually find themselves worse off than if they had said or done nothing.

Here are a few examples of the TRUMP Curse both recent and distant past:

BEFORE – Janet Jackson Aid

Black singer and sister to singer Michael Jackson came out against Kamala Harris for claiming she’s black, “She’s not black. That’s what I heard. That she’s Indian.” A public relations representative released an unauthorized apology on her behalf.

AFTER – Jackson Aid

Jackson fires public relations representative for apologizing for her controversial remark about Kamala Harris. Jackson stands by what she said on the television show The View. If the producers would have done their homework they would have found the Jacksons are long-time friends of the Trump family.

BEFORE – George Clooney

George Clooney is asked by Jimmy Kimmel about previous comments made by Trump suggesting Clooney should stick to acting instead of involving himself in politics. Clooney said, “You know what? I’ll stay out of it if he does”.

AFTER – Clooney

The FBI stopped collecting crime data from the largest blue run cities of the US so the FBI data showing crime down was due to incomplete data from years past.

The DOJ’s National Crime Victimization Survey reveals violent crimes were up 37% from 2020 to 2023.

CONCLUSION:

The list of these occurrences goes on and on day after day. As a lifelong person of faith, I think I know what is going on here and I offer it here as a warning to those who hate Donald Trump to the extreme.

I think Donald Trump has recognized his sins of the past and he has repented and found favor in God’s eyes. I think his personal sacrifice of his time, treasures, and talents are Trump’s way to atone for his past sins. He is now even risking his life for all of us. Many of us older believers can relate to this mindset as we ask for forgiveness for our foolish sins of our younger days.

Some of the new-age Christians of today are promoting this think of the death of Jesus Christ as a sort of get-out-of-hell FREE card. They hold, “Our good deeds will not get us into Heaven. Christ’s death on the cross assures us a place in Heaven.”

To many of us older Christians, we think this is wrongheaded thinking. Our logic is more traditional, “If our evil deeds can get us a one way ticket to Hell, of course our good deeds are going to give us favor in God’s eyes to go to Heaven!”

So now we have two problems. We have people who claim to be Christians who feel they can do no wrong because Christ has their back (pro-abortion Christians) and we have non-believers who feel there will be no consequences to their wrongdoings. People of both of these walks of life attack Donald Trump and his family mercilessly.

But an old adage comes into play, “YOU CAN’T KEEP A GOOD MAN DOWN!” Nobody is sure where this old adage comes from but many feel it may have come from the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. People today are even making the association of the sham trial Jesus was put through to the sham trials Trump is being put through.

People have been lining up to bear false witness against Donald Trump and that is very dangerous, for them, not Trump.

“The LORD your God will put all these curses on your enemies who hate and persecute you.” – Deuteronomy 30:7

Perhaps Mr. T explained it best in a Yahoo Entertainment article of 2017.

“When you pity someone, you’re showing them mercy. I didn’t start this pity stuff, it was in the bible. You’ll find ‘pity’ so many times in the Bible and ‘fool’ so many times, so I put ‘em together. ‘Pity the fool’,” Mr. T said. He added, “Lotta guys in the Bible [were] asking for pity. And then a lot of them were saying, I did a foolish act. So I put ‘em together.”

I pity the fool who goes after Donald Trump! (My words, not Mr. T’s.)
