Mo Brooks of Alabama made a horrible mistake
โMo Brooks of Alabama made a horrible mistake recently when he went โwokeโ and stated, referring to the 2020 Presidential Election Scam, โPut that behind you, put that behind you,โ despite the fact that the Election was rife with fraud and irregularities. If we forget, the Radical Left Democrats will continue to Cheat and Steal Elections. Just look at what is happening in Wisconsin, Arizona, Pennsylvania, Georgia, and elsewhere, but tremendous progress has been made that will help us in 2022 and 2024. The 2020 Election was rigged, and we canโt let them get away with it.
When I endorsed Mo Brooks, he took a 44-point lead and was unstoppable. He then hired a new campaign staff who โbrilliantlyโ convinced him to โstop talking about the 2020 Election.โ He listened to them. Then, according to the polls, Moโs 44-point lead totally evaporated all based on his โ2020โ statement made at our massive rally in Cullman, Alabama. When I heard his statement, I said, โMo, you just blew the Election, and thereโs nothing you can do about it.โ Very sad but, since he decided to go in another direction, SO have I, and I am hereby withdrawing my Endorsement of Mo Brooks for the Senate. I donโt think the great people of Alabama will disagree with me. Election Fraud must be captured and stopped, or we wonโt have a Country anymore. I will be making a new Endorsement in the near future!โ
Trump takes back Senate endorsement for Mo Brooks
Trump said Brooks went โwokeโ by arguing it was legally impossible for the former president to be reinstated.
Former President Donald Trump on Wednesday rescinded his endorsement of Alabama Senate candidate Rep. Mo Brooks, citing comments by the House Republican that the results of the 2020 election cannot be overturned.
In a lengthy statement, Trump asserted that Brooks went โwokeโ by arguing it was legally impossible for the former president to be reinstated. Trump also criticized Brooks for hiring โa new campaign staff who โbrilliantlyโ convinced him to โstop talking about the 2020 Election.โโ

A source close to Brooks confirmed he is staying in the race.
Brooks, a staunch Trump ally who spoke at the Jan. 6 rally that preceded the Capitol insurrection, won the former presidentโs endorsement last April to replace retiring Sen. Richard Shelby (R-Ala.).
But as Brooksโ Senate campaign has floundered, POLITICO reported last week that Shelby was preparing to pour as much as $6 million into the race by transferring his campaign money into a super PAC supporting Katie Britt, a former Shelby aide who is also running for the Senate seat.
Trump also told the Washington Examiner last week that he was considering reversing his endorsement of the โdisappointingโ Brooks and instead backing Britt or rival Mike Durant.
On Monday, Trump met with Durant at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida to discuss the race, according to a source with the Durant campaign and a source close to Trump. Durant, a retired Army pilot who survived a helicopter crash in Somalia and was portrayed in the movie โBlack Hawk Down,โ has led the Republican primary in recent polling.
According to a person with the Durant campaign, โthey discussed the Black Hawk Down incident,โ and โTrump thought he was a real tough guy.โ A spokesperson for Trump declined to comment, pointing to the former presidentโs statement. Britt also has met with Trump in recent months, as the former president told others he was souring on Brooks.
