It was Kimberly Klacik and her online videos that sparked President Donald Trump to hold Congressman Elijah Cummings and others responsible, via Twitter, for the blight of Baltimore. Kimberly is now putting her money where her mouth is by announcing on Fox News Channel that she is running for the late congressman’s house seat (MD-District 7).

Klacik told Ed Henry, “I’m in, and I’m excited.”

Klacik goal is to be “a stronger voice against socialism and the Squad,” referring to the four freshmen Democrat women of color.

Kimberly Klacik knows the campaign will be “an uphill battle,” in district 7 because Democratic voters outnumber Republicans.

Another goal of Klacik’s is to build support for Trump among African-Americans.

Klacik’s first appeared on Fox News in July, 2019 after she posted videos on social media showing the blight and trash in West Baltimore. This caught the eye of President Trump and he confronted Congressman Elijah Cummings about the city, describing it as “a dirty rat infested” city, and placing the responsibility for the situation square on the shoulders of the district’s congressman for its conditions.

Republican strategist Kimberly Klacik is not only an activist for her district, but she is also a Baltimore County Republican committeewoman who is looking for support on February 4, 2020 in the special primary election for Congressman Elijah Cummings seat.

Kimberly knows it will be an uphill battle to win over those living in the 7th Congressional District, which is made up of parts of Baltimore City and Baltimore and Howard counties. Congressman Cummings routinely won reelection by wide margins over his Republican challengers, however, as people begin to realize that democrats do nothing to improve Baltimore or the lives of the individuals who live and work there, Kimberly knows her message will ring true to these people and they will see that she really wants to make a difference.
