Taking A Stand on COVID-19 Mandates

5Mind. The Meme Platform

Kevin Cooper is a remarkable man. He is intelligent, very well spoken and continues to take a stand as a leader in the most difficult of situations. He wrote a very concise plan on How to Prevent Bad Actors from Hijacking Local Boards and Councils showing that “voicing concerns, debating leaders, and joining groups to listen and discuss local issues is the only way to prevent bad actors from hijacking local boards and councils”.

Kevin has put some of these same ideas into sharing his concerns on COVID-19 vaccines and vaccine mandates. Protesting isn’t the only option. It is also necessary for individuals to contact their county health leaders. We are sharing his letter below as a concise and well researched example for those of you who wish to contact your health care professionals on these subjects.

To the Kaiser Management Team and the Placer County Board of Supervisors;

My name is Kevin Cooper. In October I wrote to each of you, sharing that I am a Kaiser insured and that I disagree with a covid vaccine mandate.

At the time I had attended a mandatory vaccine protest. Many people are angry that Kaiser, and others, could mandate employees to take a covid vaccine.

I believe that many voters, and customers, feel this way because they understand that the current vaccines are being provided under an emergency use authorization. They also understand, that the only vaccine that has been approved by the FDA, outside the emergency use authorization process, is Comirnaty.

I would also share that Comirnaty has a set of concerns that this group must discuss with the community as it (a) passed a reduced set of FDA trials and (b) is not available for customers in Placer County.

I would share that I called Kaiser’s member services and asked if Comirnaty was available to Kaiser’s customers. Kaiser’s member services told me that Pfizer’s current vaccine that Kaiser is administering is “the same as Comirnaty” and that I “should not be concerned that it was not named Comirnaty”. When I called Pfizer to confirm that Comirnaty was available to Kaiser customers in the Northern California area I was told that they “did not know when it would be available to Kaiser customers”.

Kaiser leadership and the Placer County Supervisors owes the public transparency concerning covid vaccines. Before either group mandates any medical procedure, you must share what you know about each vaccine and the idea that only Comirnaty is not approved by the emergency use authorization process. As I am sure you know, vaccines’ that are provided by an emergency use authorization shield the manufacture from all product liability. If a customer is harmed by a vaccine that is authorized by the emergency use authorization process, the customer has no recourse to sue the manufacturer.

While I am against any vaccine mandate, I believe that not sharing the issues concerning their emergency use authorization status or requiring a person to take a vaccine that has been created via the emergency use authorization process is deceitful and should be criminal.

I am writing to this group to share what I think is the community’s expectation- that you as leaders are mandated to review these issues and inform the voters and customers of Placer County before you mandate any vaccine. Considering that the Kaiser mandate is set for November, I offer that many Placer County residents have already been pushed to take vaccines that were created by the emergency use authorization. I hope each of you see this as wrong.

I am sending a copy of this correspondence to each member of the Placer County Board of Supervisors. Each of them are elected officials for our community and have a responsible to over communicate this issue to their constituents.

Godspeed-
Kevin Cooper
