The Twitter Files are a set of internal Twitter documents including screenshots, emails, and chat logs that were provided by Twitter CEO Elon Musk to journalists Matt Taibbi, Bari Weiss, Lee Fang, and authors Michael Shellenberger and David Zweig in December of 2022. The Twitter Files were then shared to the public as tweets by those who received the documents.
