Andrew Giuliani — a former Trump aide and the son of Rudy Giuliani — is considering a run for governor of New York next year, he told The Post on Wednesday.

Giuliani would go toe-to-toe with Gov. Andrew Cuomo, the three-term Democrat currently mired in a torrent of scandals involving sexual misconduct and his handling of nursing homes.

“Yes, I’m considering running for governor,” said the 35-year-old Republican. “There’s an opportunity for Republicans to take back New York. Absolutely.”

A Giuliani candidacy would pit two of New York’s most prominent political families against one another in the 2022 gubernatorial race.

Cuomo is the son of former Gov. Mario Cuomo, who was elected to three terms, while Giuliani’s father, Rudy, served as New York City mayor from 1994 to 2001.
