Betrayal at the Border

Under the failed leadership of the Biden-Harris Administration, the United States is suffering from an invasion at our southern border. We are enduring an unprecedented wave of drug trafficking, sex trafficking, and illegal immigration. This crisis may beย easy to ignore inside the halls ofย Washington, D.C.,ย but in states like Arizona we live with the consequences of open borders every day.ย Democratsย and their leftist enablersย refuse to even acknowledge the damaging effects of their policies. Over a year since his inauguration, Biden still has not visited the southern border, anย unconscionable dereliction of duty. I am proud to beย endorsed by the National Border Patrol Council. In Congress, I will always honor and empower the brave men and women who work to secure Americaโ€™s border.

The CDC has announced their plans to end Title 42, a Trump-era policy responsible for deporting roughly 1.7 million illegal immigrants since its implementation in March 2020. The National Border Patrol Council estimates that between 52-55% of illegal border crossings were resolved using Title 42 during this period. With Title 42 set to expire on May 23rd, border patrol agents anticipate a massive spike in illegal immigration above already historic levels. Ending Title 42 is just one way that Democrats have surrendered our southern border to criminal drug cartels and abandoned border patrol agents, as well as American citizens, in the process. There is no silver lining, Biden and the Democrats have betrayed us at the border.

To restore law and order, our country must return to the effective policies enacted by President Donald Trump. Under his leadership, our border was protected, our border patrol agents were respected, and the wall was being built. Even liberal Democrat Senators Mark Kelly and Kyrsten Sinema object to ending Title 42 as they attempt to distance themselves from the coming electoral catastrophe this November. The stark departure from President Trumpโ€™s border policies and the subsequent unraveling of our national sovereignty under Biden is one of the main reasons why I decided to run for Congress.

As your nextย representativeย from Arizonaย 2ndCongressional District, I will do everything in myย powerย to secure our homeland. In addition to never supporting amnesty of any kind, I will fightย toย increase funding for border security and prevent theย influxย of narcotics, terrorism, and illegal immigration. I will apply maximum pressure on Democrats in Congress, Secretary Mayorkas, Attorney General Garland, and other bad actors. Furthermore, I will continue to support Trump-era policies such as reinstating Title 42. During my time as a Navy SEAL, I sworeย an oath to defend this nation from foreign and domestic threats. After my last deployment, I thought I was done fighting, butย the stakes are just too high. I will not retreat from this battle in Washington. We need to elect America First outsiders with a proven track record of doing what is right in the face of adversity.
