The Committee to Defeat the President is on a mission to save Americans from the radical, dangerous policies of the Biden-Harris administration.

We cannot let the Left win. We cannot allow socialism to seep into American society. The Committee plans to match its 2020 fundraising during the 2022 cycle, pledging a seven-figure investment to expose the Biden-Harris administration and other Democrats for their left-wing politics.

The Committee was first established as the Stop Hillary PAC in 2013. Its primary goal was to stop Hillary Clinton from winning the White House, by educating the American people about her liberal agenda and her many scandals.

At the outset, Stop Hillary PAC launched a YouTube channel to embark on an anti-Clinton advertising campaign, drumming up support for a congressional investigation into Clinton’s role in the Benghazi tragedy. The PAC delivered more than 250,000 petitions (e.g. “subpoenas”) demanding that Clinton be subpoenaed by Congress’s Select Committee on Benghazi, in addition to delivering 500,000 petitions with specific questions for the Committee to ask Clinton.

In addition to holding Clinton accountable over the Benghazi tragedy, Stop Hillary PAC challenged her ballot access in Illinois, putting the Clinton machine on the defensive and forcing them to spend more money on other state ballot access as a result. The PAC also filed a complaint with the Federal Election Commission, arguing the “Ready for Hillary” super PAC violated campaign finance laws by illegally using Clinton’s 2008 campaign email list.

All in all, Stop Hillary PAC spent over $3 million in independent expenditures (IEs) to dismantle Clinton’s 2016 campaign. At the same time, the PAC spent more than $6 million supporting President Trump’s successful election. This includes sending millions of get-out-the-vote emails urging voters to vote and elect the President.

In 2017, Stop Hillary PAC officially changed its name to the “Committee to Defend the President,” dedicating itself to defending President Trump and his “America First” agenda—and supporting those who enact it. In 2018, the Committee spent over $1 million in support of Sen. Marsha Blackburn’s (R-TN) candidacy with TV and digital advertising, polling research, and grassroots outreach, among other initiatives.

Heading into the 2020 election, the Committee to Defend the President quickly mobilized for then-State Senator Dan Bishop, spending more than $200,000 in support of his candidacy. During the most critical time of the election, the Committee delivered targeted television and digital advertisements, as well as implementing a successful countywide grassroots outreach program.

The Committee was committed to re-electing President Trump and defending his agenda. It partnered with Great America PAC to roll out the “Great America Voter Drive,” spending more than $1 million to register new Trump voters in key battleground states, such as Florida, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and North Carolina. Up until he became Chairman of the Republican Party of Texas in July 2020, the Committee was honored to have Lt. Col. Allen West serve as a strategic senior advisor to promote its efforts to re-elect President Trump.

In key battleground states, the Committee invested more than $1 million into paid advertising (TV and digital) and grassroots outreach, mobilizing Trump supporters from New Hampshire to Nevada. This is on top of reaching millions of Americans with pro-Trump messaging through sophisticated digital and telemarketing channels.

During the 2020 election cycle, the Committee raised more than $16 million and spent over $14 million to back President Trump. The Committee financially supported a wide range of conservative causes, contributing more than $260,000 directly to Republican candidates. It also maintained a significant media presence on a national scale, with more than 200 cable news bookings, 400 radio appearances, and dozens of op-ed columns to its name.

We even took a stand for accuracy, fairness, and transparency in American democracy. When Georgia Democrats tried to rig the elections before the January run-offs, we backed a lawsuit over ballot monitor access in Cobb County, securing the first legal victory for Republicans.

Following the Trump presidency, the newly named “Committee to Defeat the President” remains committed to defeating the radical Left and advancing President Trump’s “America First” agenda for years to come. His legacy cannot be forgotten.
