Fauci says, ” I’m trying to hire them” referring to Chinese Communist Party Officials

5Mind. The Meme Platform

Anthony Fauci, Director, National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases sits down with Steve Clemons, Washington Editor at Large at The Atlantic, during The Atlantic Health + Science: Examining Modern Medicine event held September 26-28, 2017. This event was underwritten by America’s biopharmaceutical companies. Anthony Fauci is straight forward about his desire to work with Chinese Communist Party officials and CCP scientists at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. He also gives applause to China’s investment in biomedical research, which, we now know, includes work on bioweapons.

Transcript

Steve Clemons: Today, we’re here with one of the true heroes, really of the world. So Tony [Fauci] let’s look back for a minute, and do you get to keep your job forever? What are we going to do when you’re gone? You know, that’s my biggest worry today. How long is your term?

Anthony Fauci: Unlimited

Steve Clemons: Unlimited, great, great.

What are we not funding today, not investing in that we should be investing in?

Anthony Fauci: We only fund about 1 out of 6 grants that get submitted. About 3 out of those 6 are really good. So they are really good, so there’s a lot of good science that’s not getting funded. So, what I’m saying is that it isn’t that leaving something out, it’s that we’re not doing enough on a number of things that we should be doing.

Steve Clemons: Are the Chinese doing more?

Anthony Fauci: You know its very interesting that you asked that. We had a visit, visit that was at the Centers For Strategic and International Studies right on Rhode Island Avenue. We had a visit from the Vice Premier of China, the Director of the Chinese CDC, and the President of the Center For Advanced Medical Science in China and they met with myself and a few others, Secretary Price, talking about just your question  . . .

The Question that we asked is that if you look at investment in science, if you look at investment science, the Chinese are increasing their investment in biomedical research by something like 26 percent this year and take a look at it if you doing, we’re cutting it by a percent. So if you do the bar graph you’ll see a bar graph . . .  It is the truth, they are investing very, very heavily in biomedical research [or is it bioweapons?].

Steve Clemons: They thinking of hiring you?

Anthony Fauci: Ah, I’m trying to hire them.
