Cost, Control, and Hypocrisy – the Case against Political Global Warming

It turns out that basic laws of physics and chemistry are stubborn. The prospects that pushing the planet toward wind and solar energy would actually cause more harm to the environment than good. Birds and whales – beware of wind power!

Giant generators of wind power are the greatest new threat to golden and bold eagles. Condors, owls, hawks, and falcons all fall prey to the turbines mighty blades.

More and more dead whales are found washed up on the coast of New Jersey. Experts claim that offshore wind farms are the culprit. So far in 2023, some 14 dead humpbacks and minke whales have been found. Patrick Moore, the former president of Greenpeace, suspects the sound pulses used to survey the ocean floor are to blame. These are made for the 900-foot wind turbines. Moore asserted that underwater pulses could attract whales to the shallower waters, where they encounter a greater risk of being struck by vessels or entangled in fishing gear. Doesn’t sound very green, does it?

New Jersey Republicans attempted to get a 60-day moratorium on offshore wind farm construction in order to study possible links of whale death. Democratic Governor Phil Murphy blocked their request.

Building a single 100-megawatt wind farm which can power 75,000 homes, requires some 30,000 tons of iron ore and 50,000 tons of concrete, as well as 900 tons of non-recyclable plastics for huge blades. To get the same power from solar, the amount of cement, steel, and glass needed is 150% greater.

If governments continue with current plans, the international Renewable Energy Agency calculates that by 2050, the disposal of worn-out solar panels, will constitute over double the tonnage of all of today’s global plastic waste. Worn-out wind turbines and batteries will add millions of tons of more waste. It will be a whole new environmental challenge.

Liberal governments are prepared to launch history’s biggest increase in mining, digging up millions of acres of pristine areas, encouraging childhood labor, and creating epic waste problems. We might want to reconsider our almost inexhaustible supply of hydrocarbons—the fuels that make our marvelous modern world possible.

The 15-Minute City. The idea behind the concept is to build cities in such a way that most daily necessities and services are located within a 15-minute walk or bike ride. Carlos Moreno, urbanist and professor at the Sorbonne University in Paris first came up with the idea in 2016. He wanted everyone to have easy access to shops, schools, doctors, the gym, parks, restaurants and cultural institutions.

A 15-Minute City is like a Canary in a Golden Cage. Although it is a beautiful home, the canary is still in prison.

Now the Biden Administration wants more of your appliances. Lately, they want your water heaters and air conditioners. It looks like they want you walking around—STINKY! Of course, the liberal elites will still have access to all appliances.

Barack Obama, Bill Gates, and Al Gore own multi-million-dollar beachfront property. So, are they not worried about losing their property to the rising sea level?

H.L. Mencken—A giant of 20th Century literature wrote: “The urge to save humanity is almost always only a false-face for the urge to rule it.”
