About Kendall Jones

Kendall Jones is a Texas raised, hard working, small town girl with a love for the outdoors and helping others. She is a former college cheerleader and a dedicated Texas Tech Alumni. In 2014, she became one of the most bullied teenagers in the world.

Growing up, she watched her parents develop and grow small businesses into very successful, large companies. Their work ethic included treating people fairly and caring about others, while still growing profitable businesses instilled in her the same traits and she would always strive to achieve her personal best in everything she did.

She love the outdoors and at an early age, her father would let her tag along on his hunts. It wasn’t long before she developed a passion for hunting. They hunted locally as well as internationally. At the age of 14, she became the youngest hunter to harvest the African Big 5, which consists of the leopard, lion, cape buffalo, rhinoceros, and elephant. By 21, she had completed the Dangerous 7, adding a hippopotamus and crocodile to the list.

In 2014, the social media posts of her hunting adventures went viral and created a storm of criticism from mainstream media. She was bullied to a unconscionable level, something no human should have to experience. She received death threats daily through social media, constant media harassment, and many exploitation attempts by celebrities. Even Democratic congressional candidate harrassed her. Fortunately, she was able to rise above the negative criticism with support from family and friends. She learned a lot about herself and how strong she really is. In turn, she began to channel all the negative energy to bring conservation awareness to the non-hunting community and to help others deal with bullying. During this difficult time, she gained the support of hunters and conservationists from around the world, receiving the Safari Club International’s Youth Hunter Of The Year Award in 2015. In 2016, she lost her father in a tragic auto accident. Once again, she had to be strong and face negative criticism. In 2018, she was invited to speak at the Hunter’s Leadership Forum about how social media affects today’s hunters vs the previous generations when social media didn’t exist.

She continues to use her adventures, to encourage others, especially women and young people, to experience all that the great outdoors has to offer. Kendall says, “Everything I have endured has only empowered me to continue my mission to educate and bring awareness to conservation, the second amendment, and bullying.”
