The latest update from Tina Peters’ race for secretary of state in Colorado is good news! Peters raised enough money to get a recount done in her race, where she lost by a wide margin even though she was leading by a similarly large margin in all the polls. Peters believes the race was stolen from her by machine errors, whether intentional or otherwise. Now she has good evidence. El Paso County tested its election machines today and came up with a more than 53 percent error rate in the machine count. Peters is demanding a hand recount so ballots will be examined by a real human being, not a machine.
