Thomas Boone Pickens Jr. was born on May 22, 1928 in Holdenville, Oklahoma. He was the son of Grace (née Molonson) and Thomas Boone Pickens. He was an American capitalist, and the very active strategic and managerial force behind BP Capital, one of America’s most successful energy companies. He ranked among the world’s richest men. He died on September 11, 2019.
