Pope Leo XIV (a.k.a. Robert Francis Prevost of Chicago) met with David Axelrod last week in private audience. Axelrod was Obama’s campaign architect. He is not a Catholic, has never met a pope before, and his entire career seemingly has been engineering political narratives for the America’s socialist left. It is unclear whether Axelrod has any religious affiliation today but it is common knowledge he was raised as yet another New York “progressive Jew”.
So, this event ,of course, is going to cause questions like:
- Why did the Pope agree to meet with a progressive liberal Jew in a private audience?
- What did they talk about?
- Who called for the meeting?
- Who made the arrangements?
- How do average Americans, especially Catholic Americans, not see this as suspicious?
The narrator in the video at the top of this article highlights why what the Pope did after this Axelrod meeting is blowing up in the Pope Leo’s face. Their hidden agenda is to turn Catholic voters against Trump and the GOP in the November Midterm Election, but it may cost the Catholic Church membership and tithes instead. The narrator quotes political pundit Jesús Enrique Rosas’ who seems knowledgeable about what is going on.
“Okay, so the meeting happens and according to the source, what followed wasn’t just a series of random events. He calls it a coordinated blitz, something planned and executed with precision. The theory lays out the sequence of events like dominoes falling.
First, Axelrod has his private meeting.
Then the Pope begins publicly criticizing the Trump administration. Right on the heels of Pope Leo’s comments, three very well-known American cardinals go CBS’ ‘60 Minutes’ echo the Pope Leo’s talking points. The three U.S. cardinals featured in the interview with Norah O’Donnell on CBS’s 60 Minutes on April 12, 2026, were Cardinals Joseph W. Tobin of Newark, N.J., Robert W. McElroy of Washington, D.C., and Blase J. Cupich of Chicago.

Is this timing too perfect to be a coincidence? It screams coordinated.
The Pope and the cardinals comments weren’t just vague philosophical criticisms. They they were laser focused on some of the Trump administration’s biggest, most controversial policies.
We’re talking the border, foreign policy with Iran, and the whole America first ideology. Jesús Enrique Rosas says, ‘Look, I’ve been around politics. I know a planned operation when I see one. And this, to me, is a textbook example.’
He says it has fingerprints all over it. So after laying out this idea of a political attack, Rosas argument pivots. It shifts from what the Pope is talking about to what he is supposedly not talking about. And it creates this really sharp contrast. And you can easily see that contrast.
On one side, Rosas lists all the ways the Pope is supposedly acting like a US political commentator. But on the other side, he lists these massive issues Pope Leo is ignoring, including global persecution of Christians, churches being shut down during the pandemic, and bishops being removed for upholding church doctrine. On these topics the Vatican has been disturbingly silent.
Rosas points to the situation for Christians in Nigeria, where an attack by militants allegedly killed over 250 Christians.
Others discussed the Pope’s actions in relationship to the Vatican’s money laundering scheme’s for the Democrats through NGO charities, and as aid to the Ukraine War with Russia.

The timing of the Pope’s attacks on Trump coincides with the prosecution of Democrat leaders for embezzlement of government funds, as well as Trump’s actions related to petrodollars in the global oil industry.
This cardinal is a disgrace.

CONCLUSION:
Leo is the first Pope in history to go on global television to tell the President of the United States to make peace with a warring nation. The Pope never mentioned the brutal regime’s murder of some 40,000 of its own people simply for protesting.
President Trump responded by saying that the Pope was “Terrible for foreign policy. A very liberal person. Weak on crime. Not doing a very good job.”
Trump also responded to Pope Leo through global media outlets.
Why do you think a seated U.S. President would risk the Catholic vote? Could Trump know things we don’t?
- The Vatican Bank has processed over $6 billion in unaudited transfers since 2019. Funds routed through shell accounts in Malta, Luxembourg, and the Cayman Islands. Destinations unknown. Recipients classified.
- The same Vatican to host Epstein’s financial advisor three times between 2011 and 2014.
- The same Vatican that fought harder to keep its bank records sealed than any government on Earth.
- The same Vatican that suddenly wants “peace” in the middle of a naval blockade of the Strait of Hormuz.
- They don’t want peace. They want the blockade lifted before audits begin.
When the Strait closes, the oil stops. When the oil stops, the petrodollar bleeds. When the petrodollar bleeds, every institution that laundered money through it gets exposed.
President Trump didn’t attack Pope Leo out of anger. He went back against the Pope’s comments because the Pope and the Catholic church he uses has a hidden agenda.
President Trump told 1.4 billion people: your institution is compromised, putting The Vatican in panic mode.
The United States of America is the most Christian nation on earth and while Christian non-denominational church attendance is going up, attendance in Catholic churches is in decline.
During the Pope’s 2026 visit to Algeria, he highlighted the “dialogue of life” between Christians and Muslims in areas where Christians are a minority. “Christians and Muslims can live together and be friends.”
Over 1,400 years of history and 9 Crusades say that is not true.
Pope Leo said, “I have no fear of neither the Trump administration nor of speaking out loudly about the message of the Gospel. And that’s what I believe I am called to do and what the Church is called to do. We’re not politicians. We’re not looking to make foreign policy, as he calls it, with the same perspective that he might understand it. But I do believe that the message of the Gospel, ‘blessed are the peacemakers,’ is a message that the world needs to hear today.”
Pope Leo really stepped in it this time, and Americans need to wake up and see the truth.
