The Holy City VR allows you to experience the Old City of Jerusalem during Passover, Easter and Ramadan from your laptop or phone, or using a VR headset. The magic of the city comes alive in spectacular stereo 360 film.

For thousands of years, Jerusalem has captured our hearts and souls with its indescribable magnetism. Known to many as The Holy City, Jerusalem carries an undeniable spirituality.

For the first time, the holiest sites of Jerusalem have been captured using both volumetric scanning, and Stereo 360 VR filming. In one of the most complex volumetric VR projects produced to date, an inter-faith team of Jewish, Christian, and Muslim innovators has brought their unique perspectives to the magic and wonder of Jerusalem.

The innovative documentary experience captures this energy and invites you to immerse yourself in Jerusalemʼs Old City through a transcendent stereoscopic 360 degrees Virtual Reality Documentary. Beyond what a traditional documentary could offer, VR has the power to affect the user in ways that mirror actual experience, making you feel as if you are actually here!

The video below will be available to watch on Vimeo free of charge from the first day of Passover, through Easter, to the first day of Ramadan – April 9-24.

The Holy City is a stereo 360 documentary film, capturing the indescribable magnetism of Jerusalem, offering virtual visitors the ability to immerse themselves at the heart of one of the holiest places on the planet, in an undeniable spiritual experience that mirrors actual presence and memory.

Through cultivating understanding, this extremely powerful tool to eliciting empathy supports multiculturalism and diversity initiatives, gives visitors a broader understanding of pluralism and a tool to explore our fundamental similarities, promoting comparable virtues in Jerusalem.

The Holy City hopes to restore the majesty of the unique multiculturalism that Jerusalem offers and give access to rituals and sites that few are exposed to. Through this cultural exposure, the hope is that the visitor will see beyond the narrow strokes of racial, social prejudice and learn to appreciate every person regardless of his religion, gender or race.
