2020 Navy SEAL Hudson River Swim

On August 8, 2020 a team of U.S. Navy SEALs will be joined by fellow veterans and military supporters to swim across the Hudson River to honor our military veterans, their families, and all of those who died during 9/11 and the wars that followed that fateful day. Along the route, the SEALs stop at the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island to perform 100 push ups in honor of America’s liberties, and 22 pull ups in recognition of 22 veterans who commit suicide every day. The event concludes in  lower Manhattan to honor the victims of 9/11 and all those who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our country in the wars that followed.

Funds raised during the event go to benefit GI Go Fund as we work to end veteran homelessness, provide veterans with job training and entrepreneurial support, and assist veterans affected by the Coronavirus Pandemic of 2020.

You can support this cause by donating now or creating a team page to collection donations within your company or among your friends.
